  L’eau D’Issey by Issey Miyake for men was created by Jacques Cavallier and launched in 1994. L’eau D’issey is a complex scent. Its characteristics are cool and fresh yet warm with texture. Layers of unexpected notes and accords make this a truly mysterious scent. The top is very citrus forward having yuzu as a stand out note as well as mandarin orange, lemon and bergamot. Other top notes include coriander, cypress, tarragon and sage. The heart is spicy and floral with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, geranium and blue lotus. Base notes consists of Tahitian vetiver, sandalwood, warm amber, cedar and tobacco, which adds intensity and a deep sense of masculinity. L’eau D’issey is considered an ideal day fragrance. The fragrance is best worn during spring and summer months.
